June 2002: Acquire all assets of Unique Travel, one of the leading providers of travel services to immigrants living in USA.
January 2003: Taking advantage of the globalization offered by the emerging technologies, getTickets starts its off-shore operating center in Karachi, Pakistan
July 2006: Sign affiliate agreement with a reservation engine to start online booking services at getLeisure.com
August 2007: getTickets takes the strategic decision to convert from an offline to an online travel services company. The company acquires 35 domains representing fast growing travel destinations including getIndiaVacation.com
December 2007: getTickets reaches a new milestone by crossing US$ 10 million mark in accumulated sales.
Mr. Kundi has been a serial entrepreneur throughout his 17 years career. After completing engineering studies at NED University, Karachi, he started his career as a management trainee with Zelin (Pvt.) Ltd. He later worked with two start-up companies Forex Links and EFU Life Assurance in management position. After migrating to USA in 1999 he started getpakistan.com which became a leader in its space by 2006. He brings a rich experience in operations, sales and customer service
Farhan Ghafoor, Chief Technology OfficerFarhan has over 17 years experience in application development using cutting edge technology platforms. He has the distinction to be one of the top 7000 .NET in the world. Before joining getTickets, Farhan owned a software developing company with a team of 35 developers. He has also worked with leading US corporations as an offshore development expert.
Shakir S. Sadiq, GM Operations, PakistanShakir has over 35 years experience in travel services sales and management. He started his career with a small family owned agency in Karachi. During the oil boom in Middle East he was hired by a corporate travel services company in Saudi Arabia as a Manager. He then migrated to USA where he managed Unique travel as an operations manager. After Unique Travel was acquired by getTickets, he was promoted to be GM Operations and sent to Pakistan to establish an operations center there. Since 2003, he has successfully managed and grown our offshore center in Karachi, Pakistan
Atif Hafeez, Manager SEO & SEMAtif has extensive experience in managing search engine optimization and marketing services. He has successfully run campaigns for ecommerce companies to improve the quality of their content and enhance their rankings in search engines. He joined getTickets in October 2006.
